As a 72-year-old American who voted for George Mcgovern in 1972, and as a Republican who voted for Joe Biden in 2020, I fully agree with your assessment of our situation.

It seems to me that all you have written here is profoundly true. Keep up the good work.

Even so, I would reminod us that this world is no simple place that has simple answers to complex problems. Take Israel for instance. As a supporter of the Israelis, and the Jews, generally, this Christian urges Netanyahu and whoever else is making decisions in the Israeli military to, please, please, please, be more careful in the future in your defensive/offensive responses to hamas crimes against the people of Israel. Try not to F*** it up next time by over-reacting. You, Israel, must be a citizen of the world, responding responsibly to the criticisms of your allies. Do not resort, in your desperation to stay alive, to atrocious crimes, by following knee-jerk impulses that were provoked by the atrocities from hamas.

This that I write is itself simplistic, I know. . . maybe even unrealistic, but we are trying to fix a fallen world here.

Everybody has an opininion. That is mine, for what it's worth, quoting Stills. . . "Theres something happening here; what it is ain't exactly clear. There's a man with a gun over there, telling me (us) I've got to beware. . . It's time to stop, children, (Americans), watch that sound. Everybody look what's going down."
