Caren, when I was in Rome about 20 years ago, I visited the Vittorio Emmanuel Monument. In the street level interior of that massive building is a museum of Italian history.

In the museum I watched old filmclips of Mussolini, movies that displayed his activities during the 1920's, '30's and '40's when he was the head asshole of fascist Italy.

While viewing the old filmclips, I noticed a repeated behavior in the Il Duce (main dunce). It was a hyper-prideful stance, often displayed at the end of his orations. As soon as Musso would conclude his speech and the crowd began its wild applause, the dictator would fold his arms conclusively, sway slightly from side to side, turn his chin upward and broadcast his authoritarian arrogance for all of his many sycophants to loudly applaud.

Sad to say, this is what the trumpians are doing. They are presenting their lawless insolence as arrogance so that their numbchuck devotees will applaud in prideful support of their campaign to subvert the lawful government of our formerly united United States.

They learned this behavior from their mentor, donald trump, whose arrogant facial expressions are

hauntingly similar to Mussolini.

But years later, after his failure to carry out duties as hitler's errand boy on the south end, the Italian people strung Il Duce up until he quit breathing.

I am hoping that the American people will not require that much time to realize that they are witnessing
