I am a person who spent many years in the construction/development industry; I absolutely agree with you.
We need to do something BIG to solve this problem.
I recently took a train trip from Charlotte to Boston. I enjoyed the trip, but was surprised at the antiquated arrangement of this entire trip.
I have traveled, on several occasions, on high speed trains to many destinations in Europe.
They do it so much better in Europe.
We need to fix this. Let's squeeze it into the so-called "Infrastructure." Having built, a hundred or more years ago, a network of railroads 3000 miles across this continent, can we not find a way to update the sytem for 21st-century, carbon-neutral gliding from city to city?
