I don’t think the Republicans can actually pull it off, mainly because of a few GOP moderates in the Senate. . . Murkowski, Collins, Alexander and a few other swings.

As a Republican who grieves for the future of conservatism under a trump sycophancy, my main objective in this post was: a meager, probably token, effort to push their desperate nominating move in a moderate direction, because. . . I am a moderate. I am in fact a radical centrist.

No matter what happens with the Court, I’m eagerly awaiting the Biden/Harris administration, along with an opportunity to get this country back to a condition in which middle-class people can afford medical care, and poor people can find something productive to do.
