I just read your Occam's Razor article on BCW. It is an appropriate statement for the age in which we live.

Most convincing, however, of all the apoligists in our camp is the work of Stephen Meyer, (Signature in the Cell) which explains his work as a microbiologist, and his primary-and-conclusive statement, which is, in a nutshell:

DNA is a code. Nowhere in the universe can a code be found that is not constructed by a Coder, the one who writes the Code. Historical testimony identifies the Coder as God, about whom you, I and millions of believers down through the ages testify. Most notable about God's identity is the incarnation/life/death and resurrection of his son, Jesus.

As for politics these days, the work and teaching of Jesus is merciful and oriented toward helping the down-and-outers among us, moreso than the fat cats who have a-plenty.

From his created people, God requires compassion, not sacrifice.

"Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth."
