I say: You go girl!
Let me provide here, Dorothy, some historical background: I entered LSU as a freshman in 1969, the year after Pete Marevich graduated. I graduated LSU in December, 1973. Our graduation class was the first to walk the aisle in the brand-new Pete Maravich dome where LSU home-team basketball now played.
Across the street from that Dome is Tiger stadium, in which dormitory rooms are a part of the internal structure of the stadium. While I was a student residing in that Stadium dorm, an infamous racist ranter, David D***, knocked on my door with the intention of converting me to his racist hatred.
I told him to get lost!
Down there in the deep south, there were extraordinarily obstructive impediments placed everywhere to prevent blacks from getting civil rights.
So Angel's obvious leadership, and her team's championship is an extraordinary accomplishment.
And as an ole LSU grad, I say: "You go girl!" Harriet Tubman would be proud.
Considering what is happening in Tennessee just now, perhaps Angel should go up to Nashville and impart some of her bravado tactics to the the expelled Justins.
