In this life, wisely choosing your information sources is half the battle.
While Greek philosophy is certaintly a helpful cerebral stimulant, there is a parallel source of historical input that preceded the wisdom of Socrates.
In that ancient revelation, a story is told of a tree called the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil.
It's a story worth reading. . .
because discernment about what is right and what is wrong is quite helpful, and sometimes makes a big difference in one's life.
Because in this world, there is right, and there is wrong.
You decide, in any given situation that is set before you, what is the right choice.
And your decision is determined according to two inputs:

~ the sources you choose to inform that judgement.
Choose your sources wisely.
Furthermore, the so-called social media, which trivializes every issue and question, is not a recommended source of data and information for those who wish to make informed choices about the important decisions of this life.
Be judicious about what you allow to cross your attention span.
Here's an example: Medium is generally a reliable source for information, because it is driven by real people.
Twitter is not; nor is the Faceblahblah.
