Kate, this is a very timely and informative explanation. Thank you for providing it on Medium.
The HMS RuNAbout is an imaginary sailing ship that goes trolling for Aminos in a fantasized Sea of Cytoplasm, which are then delivered to the Ribosome Islands inside of a fictionalized human cell described in the microsmic imagined scene of my novel, Glass Chimera, published in 2008.
All ye genetic researchers of the world, keep up the good work! And all ye genetic reporters too!
Here's a song that the Cytoplamic Sailors sing as they go exploring in search of Aminos:
"We sail about on the RouNdAbout
And we're all about what they sing about
And they sing all around 'bout the RouNdAbout,
which nobody can deny!"
