Love in marriage is far, far more important than politics. Please don’t neglect appreciation for your very fortunate lifetime union with a big-hearted woman.

Marital fidelity and devotion is, in my opinion, the very first element of true conservatism, followed by loving and training children (if you are so blessed) and preparing them for a life well-lived, to continue whatever you have initiated and labored for, in this treacherous, unpredictable world.

Politics is probably, oh, 11th on the list of priorities for a life well-lived. Politics is fascinating for me only because I am a self-appointed writer, who foolishly chose to major, 1970, in English and political science. Now I am publishing novels and 1000+ blogs.

Republicans, when they are in charge, like to throw money at rich people and then watch it trickle down. Democrats like to throw money at poor people so it can trickle back up to the self-appointed movers and shakers.

I really like being in the “middle” of all that.
