Saddest of all is that what was previously faith in God is being manipulated into faith in the Loser. Not a good sign. A century ago, Germans were people of faith (belief). But in the extreme circumstances of interwar Europe, Hitler and his band of thugs misappropriated that formerly religious belief and amped it up into nazism.

Sad to say, the t(Rumpian)s seem to be whipping up the same frenzy as the third reich did.

We cannot let it happen here.

Sure, knowledge is important for maintaining society in the midst of pandemic. I get it, and I wear the mask for the sake of public health and my own vaccinated health.

But on some level, those who have nurtured a faith in God-- whose highest human order begs for justice tempered with mercy-- those people of faith ought to be returning to the God of their fathers and mothers, the One who taught that the meek would inherit the earth--not to a false god of t(Rump) or Orban or Tucker or Sidney Powell or any of the other fomenters of fascist will-to-power tyranny.
