Seems rather like a mystery tour wrapped in an enigma. What answered a question in my mind was your attribution of the "harpsichord" part to George Martin, who must have been quite an amusing fellow.

As for the authorship of the song, I harken upon another line that was recorded upon the long, winding Abbey Road of time. . . "It doesn't really matter much to me" because, in the end. . . the melody you make is equal to the melody you take (credit for.)

And as for the words, well, George summed it up when he sang: "Say the Word and you'll be free."

That fab four was an amazing, history-making combo. They worked hard; they played hard; they had many a hard day's night. . . and all of it added together was one of the most incredible phenomena of 20th century music art.

But mainly, in my life. . . nothing compares to the Beatles! There are many places and people I remember that are associated in my mind with Beatles songs. The most vivid one was, when I was entering into student leadership at LSU, we had a casual meeting at a campus leader's appointment. . .with Abbey Road soundtrack after we finished our discussion--my first hearing of Abbey Road. I'll never forget it. In my life . . . one of those precious moments.

So yes, Daniel, I find your analysis fascinating. Thanks for the memories. . . which reminds me of another talented duo, Hope and Crosby, or . . . Rogers and Hammerstein or Rogers and Hart.

Bottom line: Most incredible about the Beatles' unprecedented teamwork as a group who changed the course of music, culture, even art.

In my life, there was nothing else like the Beatles. They were a force of nature from Liverpool whose influence went all the way from our east coast to our west coast and even around the world.

Thank you, Daniel!
