Now that the tide of public awareness seems to be turning toward the inevitable Biden administration, some political clarifications are appropriate.
The first clarification is this: there needs to be in the public mind an instructive distinction between the "conservative" faction and the "trump" faction.
This distinction is not unlike the one that has been exposed in the Democratic party in recent years--between "leftist" and moderate wings, as exemplified, for instance, by Bernie vs. President Biden.
The Republican party that emerges post-trump will most likely be charcterized by the difference between the "Loser" incumbent and . . . let's say . . . Mitt Romney or Ben Sasse.
This split in the GOP would be called, appropriately: the moderate, legacy "Republican" party, on one side.
On the other side, we now can identify the "Fascist" party, represented by the Loser.
