My wife has worked as CCRN in ICU for 22 years. She is 63 years old, and has an Alpha-1 antitrypsin number of 41.

She is now in the process of obtaining documentation from pulmonologists that will permit her to work the rest her career in ICU, as she always has.

With her co-morbidities, we believe her time will be better spent holding down the fort in ICU so that others can fight the Covid in the Covid unit.
