Thanks for your report. As a 71-year southerner, I bear witness to your message. Keep up the good work.
My novel, Glass half-Full, provides an understanding of what happens when a neo-nazi group is actively doing their dirty work,
Also, my novel, King of Soul, provides a view of what was happening in Jackson, Mississippi in the 1950's-early '60s. I was a child living there at the time, during the days of black folks' first campaigns for voter-registration, spearheaded by and American hero, Medgar Evers, who fought in the Second Big War, but was told to "go to the back of the bus" when he returned to his home in Mississippi. But his work in that state did not last for long, cuz he was assassinated in his own front yard in '63, a martyr for the cause of Civil Rights.
Blood, and toil, sweat and tears. . . is, sad to say, the price of freedom, terminating, as Crosby Stills Nash and Young sang, "Find the cost of Freedom, buried in the ground." Tragic but true.
We live in a depraved world. And the fatal actors of that depravity are starting to show themselves again, in the fascist movement now being hoisted by the trumpians and whoever other GOP demagogues take over the party after he is run out of town.
