This presentation, Dan, is a timely reminder of the relationship between past and present.
As a 72-year-old American, I understand your point. In 2017, I published my fourth novel, King of Soul.
The story therein was a fictional, though authentic, account of what happened to our nation during the war in Vietnam.
My novel story therein began in Mississippi in the 1950's; the story concluded on May 4, 1970 in Kent, Ohio.
All that to say. . . your presentation above is appropriate, accurate and well-timed. Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it.
One more point here. . . possibly related or possibly not to this topic: we need to watch out for little dictator wannabees who strive to maneuver public discontent and violence toward violence and insurrection instead of constructive democratic-republic law, peace and safety for all Americans and for all world citizens who are willing to join us in our mission to liberate the world from tyrants and the murderous thugs who would elevate those tyrants into positions of warmongering power.
