This whole idea is ridiculous. There is no way to sort all this out. It's not just about money. There are multiple issues. But the cultural issues-- especially sexuality, gender identity, etc in primary schools--are the most divisive.

Our Congress could go a long way toward resolving a fundamental issue by releasing all American parents from any requirement that they send their children to public schools. Parents who want their children educated without identity indoctrination can run their own schools, and pay their own expenses.

The blue/red separation thereby will go a long way toward solving the most divisive issue of all, and this separation is far easier to accomplish than fighting a civil war.
