Well gollee I am one of those never-trumper i told you so Republicans, and all I can say now is:

We love ya, Joe! Don't screw it up. We're depending on you to rescue the USA and (believe it or not) the Republican party along with it.

And As for the future of the GOP, we'll cross that bridge when we come to it. There's just one big roadblock we need to get out of the way before we can get back to being Americans again.

You know, Lauren, just between us Mediums . . . if it weren't for the obssessive distortions of identiy politics, many of us moderates might have still been Democrats anyway.

Because just now we definitely need more trickle-up than trickle-down.
