My wife and I have been living the sylvan life on a forest hillside in the Blue Ridge of North Carolina, three miles from a University town, for 30 years. Our three children are gone, on their own now and we are happy being planted on this 1.6 acre homestead.

Dig in and live, somewhere!

And write about it, all of it, remote and distant. Thank God for Medium and for this Earth. Just do it, and do it until the earth takes you.
